Strengthening Labor Unions
I reminisce about those who built America, those hard-working labor union members who woke up every day and went to work to provide for their families. This is why America is great. Unions during the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s were stronger giving workers more power to bargain for a fair share of our robust economy and wealth gain. I will work with unions to help raise the minimum wage and improve working conditions for everyone.
I will strongly support Labor Unions and collective bargaining. When elected Congressman, I will seek a seat on the House Commerce and Labor Subcommittee and advocate for labor unions against any corporate foul play.
I also strongly support the Davis-Bacon prevailing wage act and the Building and Construction Trades Unions. Project labor agreements are good for our community and ensure quality work on construction projects.
