The first day I volunteered as a treating medical doctor was in the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Washington DC in 2000.
During my career I also worked with the Veteran’s Evaluation Services for many years. My conviction and values incite me to support all those who have honored our country with their highest sacrifice and honor. We owe our veterans our thanks, respect and our freedom!
As your next congressman I will fight and honor our veterans to get all their rights. I will make sure that veterans in our community have top-notch services to help them navigate the federal benefit systems. I will push for increasing funds to the VA, and to hold the VA system to its highest of standards.
Likewise, I will work closely with our veteran service organizations and groups to ensure that our retiring servicemen have access to educational opportunities, employment, first-class healthcare and rehabilitation. Our Veterans deserve better, and they deserve that their voices are heard. I will also commit to improve management of the care administered by the VA, we have to overhaul its IT systems, expand telehealth services, and improve healthcare access for our female veterans.
Doing all the above, will be the only way we can genuinely serve our veterans the same way that they have served us and our country.
